Shooting Straight – Q&A with Anthony Imperato

Shooting Straight

Q. Share your first recollection of using a firearm. How old were you and who taught you how to shoot?
A. I certainly remember it! It was in the small, one-point range in the basement of my grandfather's gun shop in lower Manhattan. The gunsmith said “Hey kid, let me teach you how to shoot.” I remember putting on the safety glasses and being slightly apprehensive about pulling the trigger. I was seven or eight years old.

What do you think?

Great story and ever greater rifle. Best looking rifle ever made. I have not bought one yet, but drool over the lever action 22.cal., octogan barrel Henry.
Just reconditioned a 43. Caliber 1877 Mauser that I will hang on the wall. So heavy, don’t see how a military person could carry all day, every day. Thank you for being in business and producing such a great rifle. John cathcart

I prefer the lever action. I use lever action(30-30) when I go Deer Hunting.

Great Magazine. Great rifles. I have 4 Henry 22LR rifles, one being a Silver Eagle. My favorite is my Long Ranger in .243. Man, that is one sweet shooting gun.
Keep up the good work and thanks for being Made in America!

    Well Mr. Imperato,
Where is the best place to eat in NYC. And what is your favorite firearm?
PS. Thanks for making great American made firearms.
